Try narrowing the window to less than the picture width. I am seeing 'stacking' until window is narrower than the pix, then the horizontal scroll bar kicks in.reible wrote:And here is the post in IE8...... stacked and no scroll bar...

So either vista is treating this different or IE8.

Interesting that in your pix of screen the smaller picture is displayed to the left of the puppy. It was displayed below the original 'line' and combined with the puppy from the following line.
BTW Excellent photo. I can read the small print on your screen. WHAT camera are you using?
As originally posted, the SPT'S and a small bandsaw were on one 'line', the puppy was on the second 'line'. The next line was 14 small bandsaws. This was followed by a line with one small bandsaw.

Safari 4 (beta), Mac OS X 10.5.6
I wonder how it works under Safari for the PC?
Running Safari 3.2.1 and OS 10.4.11 with the pictures side by side (23" HD monitor at 1920 x 1400). When I narrow the window the pictures stack with no scroll bar.

Yep, late last night I thought about trying that (or I guess read it in jpg's post), and with my setup it stacks the images when shrinking the width of the browser also. With a 24" monitor I don't have occasion to do that very often.Running Safari 3.2.1 and OS 10.4.11 with the pictures side by side (23" HD monitor at 1920 x 1400). jpg,
If you drag the picture to your desktop & then check the EXIF data it will tell you that and more!BTW Excellent photo. I can read the small print on your screen. WHAT camera are you using?
Lets see...
Fuji FinePix A350 shot at F2.8 (good fast lens!), at a focal length of 5.8mm, and a 1/23 sec exposure (on a tripod?).
Fun with pictures!

This has got to be a MAC thing, correct?

Now it has been a while since I regularly used a PC, but I certainly don't "think" it is just a Mac thing! This has got to be a MAC thing, correct?
Now you MAY need to actually open the image in a program such as ACDSee.
But, before I moved to Mac I was very heavy into PCs (building, rebuilding, upgrading, MS beta tester, etc), and did photography work then also. However I can't seem to remember how to do it from the desktop.

Some time back, with photo images that I had received on the forum and transferred to my computer for storage, I could determine a number of things like what camera had been used and what were the exposure settings for that particular photo.colday wrote:Now it has been a while since I regularly used a PC, but I certainly don't "think" it is just a Mac thing!

If I remember correctly those details were reveiled by my HP Image software.
I can still do that with images that originate from my own cameras but no longer with photos that I have pulled off the forum.
I have no idea what has caused this change.
