Take a good look at #49. It has a red plastic handle that is threaded into the casting. The handle in the pix does not(not sure what it goes to[may be an earlier version I am not familiar with{rsvp}]! If it has a hex bore on both sides it is an older version.

P.S. #39 - #41 are NOT original on your version. They were added at least 30 yrs after its 'birth'. The holes for the screws ain't there! Also the blade guard is entirely different. If the blade guard spring is aok use the original, but be cautious(those 3 blades do bite[The voice of experience]).

You do have the original style fence locking handle in the misc. pile.

What I was thinking about is restoring the PHOTO...

Found a place out in CA called

I guess one could just email the photo and see who opens the mail at the company...

Ah....your post way up above is all clear to me now....I think!! It had multiple interpretations. (gee that's what I tell my wife all the time!!)

Just to be clear, my restorations are done with pure 100% blood, sweat, and tears. My wife however can take the digital approach to restorations....(she is owner of Photos Made Perfect).

Nice stunt! I liked it(once Mike cleared it up!)(and I knew she did that sort of thing, I did not recognize the 'firm' name!);)
