[quote="dusty"]I agree with you but let's not refer to the President as a scumbag]

Roger that. I will forgo the use of such subjective terminology as "scumbag" and go with the more factual & actual term "traitor", speaking of impeachable offenses. Some of those include the unconstitutional appointment of Secretary of State, declaring willful disobedience to Supreme Court rulings and duly enacted law, providing aid & comfort to the enemy, and numerous violations of the Constitution, his oath of office, lying and perjury to the American people.

And when one considers that the "fundamental transformation of the United States of America" can only mean the repudiation, defiling and purposeful destruction of the law of the land- the Constitution- no further case need be made.

Btw, perjury was enough to impeach and convict the serial rapist Clinton, and it should be adequate to the task for BO. [No matter what anyone calls the matter of his birth certificate, and whether or not the I.D. matters, he swore the cert he produced was True, and it is proven False. That is Perjury. Forget the rest.]

Clinton was impeached, not convicted.

Open mind = allowing facts to change your incorrect views.

Closed mind = searching for or making up "facts" that reinforce your incorrect views.

:D

They have ensured that the drugs I take are safe and effective. They are trying to ensure that I don't get taken to the cleaners by Mutual Fund Managers, purchase defective goods, etc.
There's only one thing wrong with all of that, s'fars I can see: all of it.

The gov't didn't provide or pay for any of all that.
Taxpayers did.
And that aint nit-pickin.

Imhso, if even nearly everbody paid even passing attention to who was taking their earned money and what they were doin with it, I bet we'd not have a deficit or debt, and the Federal Gov't (which, btw, is largely today Unconstitutional) would be a mere sliver of what it is.
Sequestor-- that is Obama's sequestor-- gives us a grand peek into the real F G.

Day dreamin: imagine what State and Local gummints, and local churches, outreach progs, education, etc., etc. could do if their taxpayers weren't shoveling so much of what belongs locally to the F.G. (some would say f. F. G.). We'd all be rich beyond belief.

Hm, hadn't thought of it like that befo.
Does that make General Motors, Chrysler, AIG, Solyndra, etc., etc., etc., all gummint or private entities?
I dunno.

Perjury was enough to get:
Clinton impeached.
Clinton convicted.
Clinton sentenced.
Clinton punished.

That other thing is a different topic.

Alas, Dusty, methinks you have been lured into the abyss. I don't recall seeing anyone saying here that Clinton was convicted. {Tho now that I think on it, for all practical porpoises and eschewing (and spitting out) semantics, he was.}

Context. It means something.

"was enough to..."

Ex.: a full gallon bottle of orange juice was enough to fill that 12oz. glass, if only someone would pour

Ex. 2: [Headline: "Grand Theft Munchies!"]... "The D.A. had all the proven evidence he needed to convict, but on the last day the head juror was caught stealing the bailiff's Reese's Pieces, and a mistrial was called."

[for the sake of brevity. not a big thing. makes a statement as an aside. not important. unnecessary. color. was taken out of context earlier, for what porpoise I can only surmise. Possible misinterpretation?

Hay, howabout that OJ trial, eh!?

I believe all have made their points and little else is being accomplished at this point. I'm closing the thread.
