Well, I wasn't talking about law or courts. That's not where rights come from. That was basically my point. Rights come from a higher power than courts or laws.

Nor was I talking about prisoners, but mankind in general. However, I would agree with the courts on that one. If you take away someone's liberty and have control of their life, denying them the ability to take care of themselves, then you take on the responsibility of taking care of them.

But now we are back to the issue of what will become of ...Large numbers of idle people many or most with no way to sustain themselves ...will they all become bandits ...Or criminals of some other kind?...

There are already large numbers of unemployed and unemployable educated people...And that's not even counting all of the educated people taking jobs below their station and in that process displacing less skilled and educated people..

What is society to do with all of these people?..And how are we going to pay the costs of ever increasing numbers of incarcerated people?...
