I didn't give them a bath. There was minimal pitting. The Power Shop worked like a beast. And the best part is there was really no effort on my part.

Now that this one is clean and running, I put it on Craigslist @ $450. I need to clear room to build/clean another.

Mark, I am curious......How do you mount the extension table on the left side of the headstock of your ER? Otherwise, looks nice......San Fran must have deep pockets.]

Hey Guys! Thanks! we will see what the market will bear. As for the tailstock on the other side, I have never had the need to do that. The tubes slide real nice so if you were so inclinded you could just loosen the two set screws and slid the tubes over giving you the extra needed to mount the tailstock.

I sold my ER this morning. The guy could not believe that it was as old as it is. He thought my posted photos were from a catalog or sales brochure. Here are the final photos:

For the aluminum, I used a spray stripper on the mitre, belt cover, and jig saw and then just a quick brush with the wire wheel. Not perfect, but 1000% better than the old scratched and flaky paint.
