They are two different posts and the one that sold in Houston was definitely a 10ER. He left Houston Sunday for his home in California. Family was selling off various items in Houston.

The left one is a Mark 2 boat anchor and the one on the left looks like a 520 note the red power switch.
Really? What indicates a 520???

Funky focus got me. I did not recognize that stuff. My reaction was a bandsaw table extension due to the knobs(I did not count them).

About a month ago I was talking to one of my wives coworkers about my Shopsmith and he said that he had one that he was thinking about turning in for scrap metal. I convinced him not to do that and tonight I finally got to put eyes on it. It is a 10ER, serial number 33232, with the the A.O. Smith motor and speed changer. I tried everything I could to take it home tonight but he asked that I wait until he talks to his son before he gives it to me. Needless to say I am pretty sure that this falls right into the "bargain available" category. The biggest question I have is what year does that serial number match up with?

Thanks JPG; now I just have to see if his son wants it or not. Fingers crossed that he doesn't!
