I sure looks like a good value for a machine that visually appears to have been maintained and used very well. I wish that deal were closer to Texas, but if it were closer to Texas it would be already gone.

John I will take your word on that, not much smarts on a VII, cover off and pulley system looked different to me.

John, I am not doubting/arguing with you, I thought the VII had a 3 step pulley system, thats what threw me.

The Mk II had the 3 pulley system.

The VII had a completely different
system, which has NEVER been repeated.

The 'reversing' power switch is missing(a common thingie).

The vac housing etc is missing(common also).

The belt cover may or may not have the headstock crank disconnect knob etc.

I bet the control cam is funky from the comment.

It has the original wide poly-v belt.(13 ribs)

That is about all I see fer now.

Actually the speed control is quite similar to the M 5/V, but the control sheave is moved differently and the motor hangs further away from the idler shaft. The idler shaft to main shaft = the Mark 5/V.(poly-v belt same 'length'.

The miter gauge is there as is the rip fence and the unique extension table.
