As Hilary has said, "Our way of life as we know it is at stake"(or something to that effect), let us be thankful it was! ;)

Finally - the people have spoken. Stayed with the Fox News Channel until it was over this morning. Beautiful acceptance speech!

Media and establishment have found their come-up-ance, crooks will find their justice and the Nation will again become a whole lot better off. It may take a while, but will start come January 29th.]

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

The main street media, the pollsters, the pundits and the die hard cable propagandists have now been completely and totally discredited. Time for them to pack it in. MSNBC, CNN and the others may as well pack their tents and disappear into the dust bin of history. No clear thinking person will ever believe anything that they publish again.

Before I retired, I worked with a gentleman who often said, "They don't know that they don't know."
That totally applies today to our pollsters and mainstream news media/

This thread (and the national election) has a very large affect on our beloved Shopsmith. Pretty soon it will be a great effect. It might take a couple years, but it will happen!

When was the last time Shopsmith could obtain parts from the USA? Yes, it's been a while. When was the last time OHIO has produced manufacturing jobs? The Dayton area has become stagnate for these jobs. THIS WILL CHANGE! Watch and see!
GO SHOPSMITH!
GO NATION!

The media left the job of reporting news and tried to manipulate the news.
I think they must fire all the News-maker-wannabe's and get reporters.

I loved the polls I went out of my way to make sure any pollster did not receive the correct answer from me. Why did they want to know? Because they believed they could effect the vote.

Polling, regisitration and any other indicator of how a person might vote should be not be available to anyone. We cast secret ballots that everyone in the world seems to want to know how we will vote. Only this year people struck back, saying one thing and doing another. :D

I hope you right correct, Charlese, and many good things come out of this transition of power but I am skeptical.

The members of the House and Senate need to learn how to compromise (work together toward a common goal) or all we will have is more of the same. What I would like to see is a prohibition on bills being tacked onto other bills just to move them through Congress when the bills cannot move on their own merit.

I should have done this earlier. This thread is not going in the direction that I had intended; it is heading into deep political debate that I did not anticipate. This is the last you will hear from me on this thread.

To all, and especially Dusty for your earlier post, this is a summary of his plan for the first 100 days. Pretty impressive. I won't help me much because I am retired and not a recipient of veteran benifits, but it should be good for the country and that is the important part.

Anyway, if it helps ...
