Nice video update.

I did notice when painting parts you decided not to tape or cover the holes in the Bench Ends where the Way Tubes and the Extension Table/SPT's go into. I tape the holes when painting to avoid having to remove paint from them later. I have found that covering those metal-to-metal part areas make finishing easier for me. Some parts like the castor ends are easier to clean off the paint as you did with the brake honing stones.

When painting Model 10 parts, since I have done so many, I made wood plugs several years ago to go into those holes I do not want paint in. That has saved me a lot of taping work. I used scrap wood that I turned on the Lathe down to the correct sizes to fit like a slightly tapered cork. Some fit, like the Way Tube holes, on the Mark parts too. I'll be using some of them on my upcoming Goldie restoration. I may make more plugs. I also have a Greenie, a Mark 2, a Model 10ER and two Model 10E's to restore plus several SPT's. I guess I am going to be busy for some time to come.

I look forward to seeing your finished Goldie restoration. Especially want to see how the gold paint looks since I am still trying to find a substitute for the Rust-oleum Hammered Finish Oatmeal color paint I previously used for Goldie restorations. I'm also looking for a green paint to use for that Greenie and Mark 2. Shopsmith's dark green is lighter and is more metallic than the original which was Hammered Finish.

Made more progress this weekend.

I was able to get the side panels media blasted, primed and one of them I was able to get some color on. I don't have a pic yet of the color, I didn't have good lighting. I will get that in the next couple of days.

I also finished up the fence.

Finally, I made a new base arm pin for 3/4" stock.

I have a Mark 5 headstock that I no longer need. I have replaced it with another. The one I'm offering has some undiagnosed problem with the speed control.

I thought someone might want it to repair or to use to cannibalize parts.

Looking VERY good, but The foot pedals are upside down.

I see that. When I got it, the castors were on the pedals were on the back instead of the front, so I flipped them. In my haste to get it back together, I didn't notice them being upside down. I think I should be able to just take them off and flip the "pedal rods" from one side to the other. I put them back together according to the marks I made on them when I took them apart.

Welp two steps forward and one back.

Thanks for the attention to detail, I want to get this right.
