BTW you acquainted with Mr 'Wright'?
My second wife's maiden name was Wright.
Unfortunately, her first name was "Always!"
Now, she's the "late" Mrs S.
(Sterling (S1) should be so lucky with W1!)
(Oh, Sterling's W2 is a JEWEL! He LUCKED out.
Her, not so much. She married him.)

W2 is indeed a jewel.
W1 was (is) a good person. We just should have never met.

I know the price is great, but I know very little about SS Jointers. Is this one ok? Would it require a lot of work, or just a bit of clean up? I'm right down the street from this guy right now, so I might pick up at lunch or after work.

I did. It's an old Magna version of the jointer, but in pretty great shape. There's some very mild (more like patina) surface rust on the tables, and some heavier rust (but still not bad) on the underside. Should prove pretty easy to clean up. Ordered the manual, featherboard and dust chute from Mom, and those should be here very soon. Altogether, spent 185 bucks. Not bad, in my mind!

How much for the jointer? $i85 was a bit high for a jointer!
