I dont see them very often, but I think $100 too much, I can get a MV with some SPTs for $300 around here ;)

but it was, in fact, an E model. (Had the E model
extension table bracket, and tailstock.)

Back then, the "internet" had still not been "discovered"

I was going by the spring housing as well as all the other stuff.

The name plates are not reliable anyway. Many ERs have E plates.
