I have recently rebuilt 2 10 ERs and 3 mark Vs. Two jointers and 3 band saws. I love these machines and they are built to last!!!!

I know they are generally regarded as pieces of junk, but I'd still love to have a Mark II. Just because.

I have some pieces and they are useful, if not as durable as big brother. They would make a good power station with a M5/V headstock. The way tube spacing matches the M5/V models.

I've thought the same thing. i.e. - just because it would be kind of amusing to have at least one of everything Shopsmith. But, for practical reasons, I fight the urge and hope to keep it to:

1 Gilmer greenie
1. Greenie upgraded to 520
1 10ER
1 of each SPT
Various sundries such as Maxi Clamps, hold downs, etc.

Hopefully, along the way, I'll actually do some presentation-worthy woodwork.

So, for me, the Mark II sits among the vaguest of vague afterthoughts.

Nice Group

Good deal if it includes all the ss stuff in the pix.

Beware it is an 'early' 510(rails different id from later ones). Only a problem if mixing tables from different versions. Since the od is the same, the early version rails have slightly(~0.05") thicker walls.

If you are in or near Washington DC.

Interesting belt guard! What is that sticking up behind the back left corner of the table?
