Thanks. Not that many have seen it, but what I can say is that it has gotten me a number of times, just the spilled can part lying around on a bench or whatever.

Great looking net and rod. Two of my dream projects I would love to get done.
Did you take classes to build the rod and net?
I'm in southern Maine and am searching for a rod making course.

Thanks bvrsbro - I did not take classes but learned from books - neither project is really hard - the rod obviously entails more work than the net, but both can be done without classes. That said, there is a really nice fellow in Falmouth Maine that offers classes - heres a link:

Here is a couple of my projects. The 1st picture is a store bought corner cabinet and the other pictures are my attempt to match it. First with a corner cabinet base, then I matched the top of the original for the corner wall shelf and then continued the shelf around the room.

Material is redwood decking finished with Behr 501 premium weatherproofing. 'Welcome' lettering taper cut with #5 blade at 3° on scrollsaw then recessed. Backlit using two 12 volt trailer lights.
