Starting bid on a 10ER speed changer $29.95 and no bids. Not welded, looks nice. Might be able to get it for under $150.

Is there a way to clean up this thread? I would like to remove all the chatter about other subjects than the bargains and discussion about the machines. I have enjoyed this thread since its inception, but really dislike all the sidebar discussion. Sorry for being so crotchety, but it would be nice to stick to the subject matter of the original intent. My 2 cents worth.

I second this.

A lot of chatter that could be done with a PM and not put in a thread.

Steve, Ed, you are aware that you're

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

And your point is? Might as well not have PM's with all this none related personal postings but if that is what you want I can start posting here as well and waste even more of everyone's time. Just like I am now, but I too know better and will stop, others well we will have to see.

Point is people get tire of this stuff and well that is what I'm saying and I think that is what Steve is saying.

But feel free to continue and ruin a good thing. I certain don't have to read this thread and I guess that is how you want it? Rather have your personal messages here then even try to do things right?

OK I can just stop watching this thread so feel free to do as you like, I've had my say and I'm out of here.

It has been said: "I have enjoyed this thread since its inception, but really dislike all the sidebar discussion".

I suspect that ridding this forum of sidebars is a pipe dream. Idle chatter seems to be what this forum has become. Ever been to the reading room in a nursing home?
