And at that price or less you get the 4E jointer head rest that is very rare. Then try and find the jointer.
The hinge plate is almost impossible to find. I have 2 4E joinetrs, 2 head rests and only one hinge plate. If anyone out there has a 4E jointer hinge plate I would love to have another one.

Hey gang - I've been MIA for a while while work and the rest of life has had the best of me…anyway, I needed another Shopsmith like a hole in the head but I couldn't turn down a 520 that suddenly popped up on our local CL - I was able to get it for $400 and it is in near pristine condition. The serial #/manufacturing date is May 2003 and the headstock plate says its a golden 50th anniversary model. He told me his father bought it new and used it for about a year before passing away and it's been in a storage unit ever since. He's now moving to Texas and had to find it a new home quick and I couldn't say no to the low price. I have way too many SS now so I think I'll put some of my 10E/ER units on CL for free (most of them came to me that way). Anyway, pretty excited to have a 520 and it was nice to hear a headstock that purrs like a kitten.
