So I'm not right in the head I suppose, but all these threads and posts about new Power Pros and SPT's and heavens forbid that Arizona guy with a whole new shebang, well I went on my old pdf catalog and made a wish list of everything I'd like, need, want, might use, maybe never use, and would look cool in my garage. I did it on an excel sheet and then when I was done threw in the formula to get the total.......$15,300. Now I didn't just pick one of everything, I thought about what I might use and based alot of my choices on the reviews and comments from you all here. It could have been way higher. Later today I will buy the winning lottery ticket, I know its printed, I just need to pick it up. and then I'll be making "the phone call". Wonder if its all in stock...

PS As I get my new flyer in the mail, the number WILL be going up.

That is just plain scary. But, don't hold out on us, send us the list!

What is scarey is the list I have in my computer called "Shop Inventory". Now those numbers are for real - no wish list involved....not that there is no wish list. It is just not included in the inventory.

I assume being the meticulous person you are, that the personal cost to acquire each item in that inventory is there as well. I also assume that you have included a total calculation on that as well.

If looking at that total figure does not cause coronary problems, you will never suffer either a heart attack of a stroke in the future!:D

I'm sort of keeping track but danged if I'm going to write it down where it might be found...

We were busy and didn't stop but we saw the first yard sale we have seen for the season yesterday... I didn't see any tools from the road.
They usually start mostly in early April here but it was 82 here yesterday. We would normally be having snow this week.

I maintain the list primarily for insurance purposes. I have had one run in with an insurance company over the value of my losses. If that happens again, it will not be because I don't have an annotated list of items.

I keep all of my receipts, purchase orders, shipping/receiving. etc. I don't do a real neat job but it is there if I need it. You'll just have to wait while I locate it.

As for a coronary, no. I paid for it. I don't owe for it. If I owed, yes, I might have a coronary.

The total figure (with a few recent receipts not recorded) is a little bit over $18,000. Nearly all of that dates back to before 1995. In recent years, I have purchased things like good rulers, digital gauges, replacement screw drivers, drill bits, battery packs but no power tools.

If the PowerPro had come out 15 years earlier, the list would likely include the PowerPro but it does not and probably won't. My age and health indicates that it would probably not be a defensible purchase unless my intentions were to give it to someone.

Here is what I had, the powerpro price was from memory and a little low I think. This is a pretty conservative list for a guy who might have a winning lottery ticket.
