Variable Dado SS AK-0590

Does anyone have the instruction/safety sheet/booklet/brochure for the Shopsmith Variable aka wobbly Dado model AK-0590 they'd be willing to share?

I have the dado set. I'll look for the documentation.

Nope. I am sorry but I am unable to find anything referring to this dado blade. If I can help, please ask. I have sed it extensively in the past and find that it works well - with one exception. If you need a flat bottomed dado, this is not the blade for you.

I have no argument with that but that is not the adjustable dado that I have. My adjustable dado, like the one pictured in the first post, does not cut flat bottoms. Not all wobble dados are the same.

Hmmmmm. Why does this sound familiar.
For the folks just now entering this ongoing discussion (and those of us who have forgotten;)), Chuck, please tell us again what brand/model/??? you have. As wobble blades go, it cuts remarkably flat bottoms. Gotta have some excellent tooth shape design(s).

Sorry, don't know the brand, of manufacturer. Had it for over a decade and all info is now lost. There is no stamp on the unit. This wobble was bought from Shopsmith about 13 years ago.
I used to have on exactly like it that I purchased from an Ace hardware sometime in the 60s, but that one got lost in all the moving.
Yes the teeth have an excellent slanted design.
oddie: As far as instructions, I think you would just rotate the halves of the dado unit to get it to wobble more or less. Your photo of the blade shows a mark on the inner face and fractional units on the outer face. Lining up the mark with a particular unit should get you close to the width wanted. You may half to do a small bit of adjusting, but if you're lucky, you'll be right on.
