Hi,
How are "we" knowing which pulley that is? Looks like a motor pulley?
Description is lacking.

The description is definitely lacking, but it looks like it has a keyway (and a key) which makes it a motor pulley if my observation is correct.
shipping is a little excessive, but that's just my tight-penny pinching Dutch ancestral ways.

The link provided is for the motor. If memory serves me correctly, what you showed in your post was a motor pulley with the three sheaves. If you wish the top one, it is also a good price. If the same seller, maybe you can get a cut on the shipment price. I agree with the shipping cost. Some of these folks make up extra on the shipping. I've received several boxes that didn't cost nearly what I paid in shipping. It's just the cost of getting what you really want. And, the reason I posted was the price. I hope it works out for you. If not, we'll wait until another comes along.

Just like big business! The more that can be added to the selling price, the greater the profit. I wonder how many eBay sellers charge for their time. Some of the prices look as though they do.

I sell a lot of things on Ebay. It's how I earn a living (about 2/3 of my income in 2011) That being said, let me clarify a few things.
Ebay charges a 9% commission to the seller on items sales AND on shipping as well. So, if I charge a guy $5.15 for shipping an item in a small flat rate postal box (which is what it costs me) I LOSE $0.46 on that little gem.
As far as the time it takes me to pack an item, hey, I'm not that greedy. I don't charge for the 2 and half minutes it takes me to drop an item in a box, pack and seal it and print a label on the computer. But that's just me.
Some guys do.
What I don't think is appropriate is that a buyer agrees to buy something at the agreed on price, with the posted shipping rate, and then has the unmitigated audacity to whine about the shipping price and leave a negative feedback or ding the seller in the stupid star rating system. That's just silly.
My last word is, If you don't like the shipping price, don't bid on the item and agree to pay it.
I'm not directing this at anyone, just a little education from the other side of the auction block.
