My SS Mark V is finally working!

All I had to do was get the 20A circuit installed in the garage. As soon as I plugged it in, it came right to life and the blade was spinning no problem. The speed dial seems fine too.

I'm closer to actually being able to use it, so exciting. Thanks all for answering my questions! I have to watch some more videos, learn how to use my new kreg jig properly (the first attempt was a disaster), and maybe I'll finally tackle the cabinetry.

My first cabinet is probably going to look like a drunk monkey put it together, but at least i'm making progress. :D

GREAT to hear that it runs good. So ya have it all cleaned up and lube now? You'll be much better off now that ya have a dedicated circuit for the SS.

Good show! Now it is time to perform the complete table alignment.

Just to add to what Dusty said about aligning the table, you need to be especially meticulous when aligning the fence to the saw blade so that you get clean, smooth, safe cuts while ripping.
