Hopeless Newbie to Shopsmith

So I bought this shopsmith from a neighbor not knowing jack nothing about them other than they're supposed to replace a lot of tools and work well in my tiny shop. He tells me there might be a belt needing replaced, but should work otherwise. I lubed everything that looks like it moves, checked the belts which seemed fine. Try to turn in on, motor works, nothing spins. I look inside and see that it looks like the control sheave is getting hung up on the arm of the speed control thing. And I'm pretty sure the speed control knob got spun without the motor on, completely violating Rule #1 in the worst way. So a couple questions because I can't seem to find what I'm looking for by browsing.
1) which model Shopsmith is this?
2) where do i go from here?

More pics of the lower sheaves that a belt rides within. Second, do you have a sanding disk?

Ps..there is a belt inside the sheaves right? The sheaves are behind the motor which seems to be dropped in the pic.

The band saw is always a coveted bonus when you buy one of these. As for the accessories, it should come with most of those shown here:

Except, of course, those exclusive to the Mark 7.
Did you try running it with the cover off and observing if the belts were moving, or possibly slipping within the sheaves?
A picture of the speed control where it attaches to the upper sheaves would be helpful. The more pics, the more we can help.
Welcome to the club!
More pictures, help
