Can anyone tell me what, if any, the differences, besides the color, are between the new Mark V mount scroll saw and the older grey one? Are they significant?

As I recall the major differences include a different table (teal is solid with no insert), a different blade mounting system (teal blade blocks have knobs to mount the blade) and a different blade tensioning system (teal uses a quick release system at the blade and at the arm). The last two can be had as upgrades. Personally, I kind of like the gray's table with the insert with its better access to the lower arm. There are other minor differences, but these were the ones that come to my feeble mind.

Thanks for the reply Rob. There was one on ebay, but family kept me away most of the day and I missed it. Family always comes first. Will file the info away and use it if another comes along.

Was hoping for more responses. Got as many about an email sent to me as I did regarding the OP.
I am wanting to get a scroll saw and had hoped to get some answers from the experts of this forum. Rob and Bob I appreciate your responses. I would like to know if there are differences other than the major ones talked about by Rob.

There is also the self powered/stand mounted vs the ss mount versions.
AIUI the blade mount, tension control, table, pretty much sums up the differences. There were two 'gray' versions one with blade holder mount jigs built into the table.
