In these forums I see sometimes members add links with one or two words for the link.
I cannot figure out how to enter it. I looked at and tried to copy the html code.
that didn't work for me mine look like this one that has an example of what I
want to do in it. It's in the third entry Dusty knows how

Well lets see. Easiest way is to go to the 'target' site and copy the url to the clipboard.
Then add 'the
word', highlight it and go up to that worldly link icon above and click on it. A pop up window will appear requesting an link address. Note the '''http'''' stuff is pre inserted(do not duplicate). If the url is in the clipboard, erase that stuff and paste the clipboard into it. Click ok when done and 'the word' will be blue and clicking on it will activate the link.
Do not be confused that 'the word' in this example links you to where you are currently(almost)!

In case one I forced the full path, the second case the built in software of the forum truncated it for me.
The third case I clicked on the insert link icon (globe with paper clip) and then pasted the url.
