I have read several threads that talked about webinars
Sounds like web seminar.. atts my best guess.
If so, how often are they?
How do you find and partake in one?

Your guess at the noun is exactly correct.

Web Based Seminar.

They can be done several ways but essentially boil down to Live demonstartions and recorded. Often times a live webinar will be recorded and then can be viewed later as long as the media is hosted somewhere. I Hope SS decides to do this and host some of the video from the webinar.
