what a difference in using th UTR vs. the standard tool rest.

SS honored the old shipping charge, it was back ordered and sent out after the price increase.

the tool rest is solid and the extra 35 pounds of weight doesn't hurt to steady the SS.

No movement at all on the arm.

What are you asking? Except for the inability to turn very thin work without accessories, usage is the same as for the standard tool rest banjo.

FYI the tool rest is the same for both the UTR and "Standard" what you are upgrading is part of the banjo.

I think that was an exclamation not a question.

Thanks, Farley. I have good reason to believe that it is all working already. I'll call you some time this week to discuss my visit to your shop.
