I know how to attempt to align the two spindles but I'm looking to see if anyone can share a technique they have used that is easier then trial and error. Taking the Band Saw off adjusting spindles puting it back on, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Duhhhhhhhhhhh!

After an exhaustive search, its where I should have looked in the first place, I found my original Band Saw book and see how easy it is. Thanks anyway, I'll do it tomorrow before beginning my new project. Once again, thanks.

It still ain't the easiest thing to do.

I suggest a couple of tapered blocks(think door stops) that can be finely adjusted and will hold the 'elevation' while tightening set screws (and 'rotating' to align shaft f-r).

P.S. MY 'exhaustive searches' usually take much longer than 12 minutes!:D
