Does anyone know if you can fine the rollpins that hold the Handle on the Head Stock that you loosen to move the headstock at Lowes or Home Depot. I want to remove the handle to clean it and I just don't know if the rollpin will come out and still be good.

They should be available at most Ace hardware or Lowes and Home Depot. Either takt the old one with you or measure it accurately. I have used the old one for re-assembly.

I have better luck finding good quality roll pins at Ace hardware. Jim

The original should be reusable as long as it is not boogered up while removing it. That one can be stubborn! A properly fitting pin punch is the best tool for removing them.

Do you tap it back in or press it in.

Depends upon what tools you have available. Either way works. Pressing works better depending upon what you are pressing with.

I removed mine and reused it upon reassembly. Just take care when removing it.

Is it necessary to remove the handle and lockdown hardware to do the PowerPro install? I'm having trouble driving out the pin and don't want to break or bend something if I don't have to remove it.

I believe so, but this is a good time to remove all accumulated rust/gunk/crud etc. regardless.:)
