Is there an available operator's and parts listing manual for the Shopsmith Speed Reducer?

Yes, but not listed on the Shopsmith computer site. A manual comes with the SR when ordered from Shopsmith. Maybe you can buy one from them.

There are a couple of cut away views in the "Tool Hunter" blog. http://shopsmith-tool-hunter.blogspot.com/ They are hard to find!!! (at least for me).

The Speed reducer is a fairly simple tool with bearings, pulleys and two poly V belts. The same size as the one in the mark V.

The Speed reducer is set up to drive with 5 spline hubs. so the attachment comes with an extra 5 spline hub.

I recently purchased a speed reducer manual from Shopsmith for $3.99. I waited until I was buying something else to order the manual to avoid the shipping cost. I don't understand why they can't send these USPS media mail.

While your on that page, just copy the URL, then in your posting. Paste it in where ever ya want it.
IF ya want to do the came, but with one post. Just click on the post number, then copy that URL.

I believe that the original request related to the Speed Reducer for the Mark V. The link leads to docs for the Speed Changer for the 10E/ER.
