Drive Assembly

Is there a trick to putting back the drive assembly the one that the poly v belt rides in. I used the trick they showed on You Tube to get it out using the quill. Now it doesn't want to go back in.
Just figured out a way. I put the assembly in the freezer and the headstock in the sun and it went in with a little help from my board and hammer on the front of the bearing.
