Wooden Tool Holder

I just purchased a Shopsmith Mark V, model 500, 1982 I think. Anyway, I'm still trying to figure out how to clean it up. It didn't come with a manual. Anyway, my question is hopefully simple. There is a board attached to the legs of the SS about a foot off of the floor. I know it's to hold all of the attachments but for the life of me I don't know what attachment goes where. So far it is just a piece of wood with some holes and dowels and slots on it. Ok I have figured out where a couple of things go. I was wondering if someone had one and could take a picture of it loaded with the attachments so I could see where things go. That's all, more questions to come later about cleaning and oiling and . . . Now off to the store to find some Johnson floor wax.

Most likely it is the second link above. The top link is for a newer shelf but it also could fit a 500. If you have the newer one use the bottom link as a guide of where to put stuff.

Wow, I didn't expect such a quick reply. My shelf is very similer to these, but not exactly the same. I think the guy I bought it from got his shelf later on. Anyway, I think from these pictures I can hopefully figure it out.

Go to: http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/prod ... yShelf.pdf. There is a PDF file. I would like to see a picture of the board without the tolls. I want to build one. Good luck. Jack
