Back side/inside of PowerPro control panel?

Anyone have photos of the inside and/or back side of the control panel from their powerpro?

First time I had seen the guts of the nova remote upgrade. would be nice to see what the insides of the shopsmith one looks like. Based on what I am seeing, the nova upgrade mainly adds a passthrough cable for the remote switch. They replace the LCD for some reason as well...which seems odd. They use the same controller on old vs. new.
My guess is that the powerpro has a different size ribbon cable (ie: more wires), such that you would have to adapt to match the pins properly. The other question is whether the on/off functionality would work correctly given how the powerpro asks for confirmation.
Realistically speaking, an enterprising Computer Engineer/Electrical Engineer could use a simple off-the-shelf wireless transmitter and a serial encoder/decoder type setup to effectively emulate button presses. I am pretty sure, given what I see in the NOVA setup, that is what the nova folks are doing.

Would have to do a complete disassemble to take a picture of the back side. Once the headstock is together, the control panel is completely hidden from view.

I want one of these too, maybe Shopsmith will get the message so I don't have to dust off the engineering manuals.

It actually looks like the same connector. Who can we ask if it works or if Shopsmith plans to offer one?

I posted in another thread that I spoke to a Tekna Tool/Nova rep at the Tampa Woodworking show earlier this year and was told by him that he "thinks" that it "may" work with the PP headstock. He wasn't convincing enough for me to take the plunge.

Given the evidence I will take a shot...order placed for just the wireless remote. I hopefully can find myself some ribbon connector cables at my local specialty shop.
Looking at the install videos on facebook for the Nova retrofit kit:

There are two main questions:
1) is the keyboard interface compatible with the remote enabled stuff, or what exactly is different in the keyboard interface in the retrofit kit
2) is there physical room

Are you planning to connect a Nova Control to a Shopsmith PowerPro Processor Board?
It sounds as though it would be a fun exercise but only if I had access to a supply of parts and maybe a couple circuit diagrams.
