Caster reassembly thread

I have made considerable additions to that thread with the intention of better calling out orientation details.
I have also added comments regarding different versions of the caster assembly. I am concerned that they may add to the confusion, but the intent is to help those who have a different version.
I
solicit comments, criticisms, suggestions, whatever that be relevant to improving the thread.
Post them to this thread.

Is there any reason to not install the caster assembly reversed? I have a Shopsmith accessory shelf in front and I find it difficult to get my feet on the lever. If I reverse them, the levers will be easy to access from the back. My Shopsmith sits in the center of my shop with access from to all sides.
I could also put the accessory shelf on the back instead of reversing the casters since it is already off.
I am about to turn by Shopsmith over again to do the double-tilt upgrade and I only want to do this one more time.

Merely reverse the casters leg for leg. That will locate the foot pedal to the rear.

I know how to do it, my question is, is there a reason NOT to do it.

No there is not anything that will rear up and make it necessary to put em back that I know of.
I consider it merely a matter of personal preference.
I have the casters mounted backwards on my power station so I can access the foot pedal from the outside(off the narrow ends). Actually the assemblies are mounted the 'normal' way, but the cam shafts have been reversed end for end. That places the concave side of the foot pedal facing out etc.
