DC3300 replacement hoses

Time to replace the hoses on my DC3300. Shopsmith shows them as either backordered or mfd on demand - I don't think SS actually makes plastic hosing, though, so I suspect just not in stock.

Anyone successfully use standard DC hosing from the usual suspects? I don't recall the reason, but in the past when I had looking into this it required a lot of adapting and fiddling around to use 3rd party hoses for the DC3300.

TIA for your suggestions!

Home Depot used to have Ridgid brand hose that came with a number of ends. Any standard 2-1/2" shop vac hose should work. Here are some on this webpage.

I just got 2 new hoses from SS last week. Two 10 footers. I'd be surprised if you had to wait very long. Nice clear hoses.

I guess, after poking around a bit, that lots of people sell the hose itself. But what you need to make the hoses fit the SS is the end fittings, which SS supplies already attached.

Woodcraft sells these fittings, along with the hose:

I'll give SS a call before ordering to make sure they're in stock.

Thanks to all for their help!

I had to replace mine and used Rockler 10 foot sections on 2 1/2" clear hose. I reused the twist on ends for my pipe, plus some hose clamps. I also went on a shopping spree with Grizzly and bough more twist on ends and pipe couplers so that I could make longer hoses. I now have 40-50 foot of hoses.

Yes, the link posted to Woodcraft above, but from Grizzly they are way cheaper if you have other things to order so the shipping isn't a major portion of the order. I also bought the 2.5 micron bag replace felt bag for my collector, so the shipping for the ends was minimal.

The only issue is the twist for the Rockler hose is the opposite direction of the quick attachment ends which means I have to push them on and use hose clamps. It it was the correct way, I should have been able to just twist them on.
