This "PowerMaxx" clone of the Shopsmith just appeared for sale for $250 on our local Kijiji buy and sell site.

By coincidence, I know the seller, who told me he believes the yellow and black color scheme to be original. It is wired for 220 volts. You cannot see it clearly on the speed dial, but he says that the PowerMaxx name is there. So, add PowerMaxx to the TotalShop, Multico, WoodMaster, etc list of clone names.

From the caster set, looks like it could roll off a cliff quite well.

My wife and I were discussing a car a few days ago and I referred to it as black. She said "its not black, it's dark blue"... I said "That's not dark blue, that's light black"... :D :D :D

Does it have the cast iron table? For some of us that is worth some trouble. Those tables are fantastic. Not besmirching the alum. Just love the CI.

Looks like some parts might interchangeable with SS.

We need Dusty to make some precise measurements.

If this is another asian copy then they are all alike. All parts outside the headstock are compatible with the SS. If you want to beef up your system look for the tables as they are very heavy and work great if you need weight. The mitre guage slot will be narrower on the Asian clones. Easy to mill out the slot to accomodate.
