Make sure you are reading the title correctly, this is not about Dove ice-cream bars.

I hate when this happens, I'm getting my order together for a few things I need then I spot this item:

There goes another few $$ (OK there is a 15% deal but still). I still love to make jigs so without even one in mind I will have this component to work into it.

They also got me on this glue brush:

The rest of the order were the things I really wanted in the first place.

Anyway thought I'd mention these new items in case you missed them plus I don't want to be the only one who doubled his order by looking through the new stuff.

The glue brush looks interesting but I have little doubt that it will work. Anything is better than the brushes I have used.

The miter bar, however, will need to be proven. I'll be waiting anxiously for another of your fine reports on this item.

The glue brush actually works quite well. My initial complaint about it was once the glue dries it doesn't come off the brush as easily as they would have you believe. In my short experience I find you have to spend a bit of time getting ready for your next gluing session. You need to "dig" the dried glue from down around the base of the "bristles". However, glue does NOT stick to the silicone - just packs in at the base so you have to take about two or three minutes getting ready for your next job. NOTE: Now that I realize I didn't "follow the instructions" this complaint isn't one. It morphs into an issue about not having soap and water in my shop (YET). If, when done, you wash the brush with soapy water it's immediately ready to use for your next project. I'll have to move the water issue higher on the priority list!

I've had this brush for about 10 days and used it twice in gluing up a shop table project.

Now that I've reminded myself about the "RTDI" (read the damned instructions) rule I think I'll buy a couple more. Nifty idea - now why didn't I think of that?
