Got these years ago with a used SS. I don't have a clue what they are for.

They look like part of some sort of a hold down but I don't believe they atr part of anything Shopsmith.

Look like the Shopsmith's early holddown. You might have some brackets that go with them. Shopsmith called it the Universal Holddown for the 10ER. I believe they also sold it for the early Mark 5's. Here is the first page of the 10ER version's instructions.

I bought a set of those from a Sears store maybe 15 years ago for a Sears brand radial arm saw. They are hold down devices for wood. And like the others said there is more to them then what you have.

I have a version that might have been from sears or perhaps another place. I had these back when I had my rockwell table saw, early 1970's.

The brackets are mounted to a sacrificial fence and the brackets look like this:

Having nothing to do with Shopsmiths, I was surprised to notice we both have a DeLorme PN40 in common. An unusual GPS to see people use.

I have used Delorme stuff for quite a while mostly in the form of the Streets. I have 3 different versions of ones that plug into my laptop and they have/are working fine.

When I found out my etrex legend did not store the times when you saved a track I had to find one that did so I could geotag my photos... thus the PN-40.

Sorry for taking us off track in the thread but hey it even happens to me once in a while.
