I just recieved a Wixey mini digital height gauge as a gift. I haven't used it on a specific project. But, just playing with it, I must say I am impressed with it's different functions. I especially like the ability to measure depth with it's small probe.

I also recieved the book, "The Complete Boy Mechanic" from the Editors of Popular Mechanics. All sorts of fun projects!

I have no experience with the Height Gauge but I really like my Wixey Angle Indicator. I expect that all their products are equally good.
