Just finished project

I just finished this table for my wife, to match an existing wall unit. I don't know if I'll ever do anything finished in black again. Every iota of discrepancy shows. I must have refinished umteen times trying to make it perfect. I finally surrendered and made it acceptable, not to me but to my wife.

Nice looking table, as long as MAMA is happy everyone is happy.

Superb! No one appreciates a good finish job more than I (especially those that I don't have to do).

I learned a long time ago that unless your prep work is absolutely PERFECT don't ever paint a car or anything else black. Especially with laquer. The reflective quality shows every little flaw. Car shows used to award extra points for cars that were painted black for this reason.

Nice Job!
And as someone else stated, if the little woman is happy, that's all that matters.
