This came with some tools I recently purchased. It appears to be a tool holder of some sort, much like the handle on a crutch. The bore is 3/4" and has opposing set screws to secure whatever is inserted. Is anyone familiar with this holder?

This was a wierd lot of tools. It also included guides and guide bushings for an Akeda dovetail jig, but no jig.

It looks like an arm brace used with lathe hollowing tools. Robert Sorby's arm brace is shown in the attached link, but yours looks like another manufacturer. Check the Packard Toolworks web site?

Thanks, Gary. That looks like the same type of tool. It appears to be a Don Pencil 'Scorpion' pistol grip with forearm rest.
