Hi there-

It has taken awhile to recuperate to the point I feel comfortable enough to work in the shop. One oe my longstanding projects is to replace both the infeed and outfeed rollers on a Proplaner I bought used. My question is this: the instructions say to loosen 2 nuts by the motor and tighten the two lower nuts to remove the belt from the pulley. I am unsure about the nuts which the instructions are referring to.

The motor is supported by 4 bolts that act as studs. The motor plate has a nut above and below it on each bolt. If you loosen the nut above the the motor plate and tighten the nut below the motor plate, it will raise that corner of the motor plate. I believe the instructions address the outboard set of nuts thereby tilting the motor up to allow belt removal.
