Lowes Demo Fact

I have in the past year attended three Shopsmith Demo's in the Denver Metro area. The last one this past Thursday in Lakewood. The gentleman conducting the demo was new too me, I am sorry to say I did not get his name. The demo itself was the best of the three as as it included actual demo of the versatility of the Mark 7 double tilt advantages. The point that continues to amaze me is none of the machines used to promote the new Mar 7 Power pro's are sporting the new bright red wheels. I met a fellow discussion group member there who was hoping to see those wheels. He asked me if I was the "Lakewood Discussion Group Member," he seemed pleased to be invited over to see my shop where both Shopsmith Mark 7's are sporting the red wheels as is the OPR stand. I wonder why those doing the Demo's are not sporting the new wheels??? Jim

I too have visited 3 demos within the last year.

At one of the demo someone ask about the new wheels, we were told "they" didn't want to show something that didn't come with the new machine and having to remember to say this is the the new machine you will get minus the casters each time....

The last demo I attended the shopsmith was sporting the new casters.

Good to hear Ed. There is another Demo scheduled here soon. I likely will not attend. The fellow doing the fine Demo would have preferred to have someone who doesn't already have a shop full of Shopsmith tools. So I will keep my nose out of his business. Before someone jumps to a conclusion, he was not rude but did kid me. Jim
