Finding this arbor nut is making *me* nuts.

Dear ShopSmithians:

I have this SS arbor with a sort of long threaded section, a thick cylinder, two round washers and a small washer - it came with my SS with a box of other assorted bits. It is missing a nut, but I can't seem to find one anywhere!

I have attached a photo of the beastie with a ruler for scale. Sorry for the crummy photo.

Where would one find one of these? The guy at the hardware store thinks they are proprietary threads.

I very much appreciate any leads.

Thanks!!

For stock nuts, measure the diameter and then count the threads per inch. I have purchase the tongue washers from Shopsmith. I suspect that they also have the nuts if you cannot find them locally.

It is a standard 'fine' thread.
