Hey Gene, I have two observations..... neither of which make me very happy.
1) That's still way cheaper than Canada. We're paying ~ $1.25/ liter.
2) The two most expensive were both in Green Valley, not Tucson.

It's only $3.49 in Sahuarita, though. At that Shell on the off ramp.

I gotta find out where these guys buy their fuel. Now I use diesel but the last time I filled up, I paid well over $4.00 a gallon at the nearby Shell station.

Shipwright:
You are still well off:)
Around here, Montreal it is in the $1.42 - $1.45/ltr range, or $5.36 - $5.48/U.S gal.
That's why when we drive down to the U.S. about 50- 60 miles we plan to arrive on fumes and fill up with cheap gas. Of course that only partially off sets the roughly $80 the day's outing costs us. But lunch at Applebees in Platsburgh, NY (none in Montreal), and pizza at Angelo's in Rouses Point, NY on the return trip, seem to make it worth while.

I will remember that. I should be there in a couple of weeks.... but I always try to hold out until I'm in Tucson.

Nate's company delivers there. Says it's most always the cheapest outside of Tucson. We always stop there on the way to Tubac, GV, etc. Easier than getting off in Tucson.
