i recently purchased a MARK V 500 and a bunch of accessories.
when using my table saw i noticed that the quill starts to suck back in once i begin cutting with it. i have tighened down the locks (Even mith a mallet) but it still moves. it doesn't move while it is spinning freely. any advise would be very helpful!

Well it all depends upon what sucks!

Are you sawing with the quill extended?

The quill lock should not require gorilla tactics to stay locked even if extended.

Is it actually the quill moving, or is it the arbor or the blade itself?

Are you actually tightening the quill lock(and NOT the quill stop)? The quill lock is on the same side of the headstock as the power switch(the wing nuts that are labeled are interchangable and could be mis assembled).

Last If the knurled ring around the end of the quill is moving, it needs to be adjusted to remove all end play. If itis, we be happy to tell you how.
