I was able to get about 40 feet away in thick brush. Spent more time looking then shooting. I came to this point but had no way of getting any closer without breaking through thicket which was not really an option. We stood looking at each other for about 5 more minutes then she wondered off, I did the same.

Beutiful picture and a great shot. But I am an ignorant desert dweller. Are albino deer common in your area. I have never seen one before.

This is a picture taken in northern WI in a town called Boulder Junction. This is where I grew up and still visit a couple of times a year. For some reason this area seems to have a gene pool that leads to an unusually large population, much higher then is to be expected.

They are still seldom seen and a real treat when you come upon one. You are far far better off finding pictures on the net rather then actually finding one in the woods.

I am in awe!

That's a lot more impressive than the 'sensation' near where I grew up:

I've wanted to visit but so far have not. Maybe next summer??? Wish we had a few here in Aurora, maybe in my backyard....

Now you have me thinking about this oldie, Pat Boone, Kid in the White Buck Shoes.

I personally have not seen one but I have seen pictures, even more rare I guess.

That is really a good picture. Looks like it is saying, "What are you looking at." I have never seen one, our heard of them.
Thanks
