Shopsmith At Lowes San Diego

I enjoyed having the opportunity to watch David Folkreth put the new Mark 7 through its paces yesterday at the San Diego Lowes store. The audience peaked at about 10 and it appeared there were two folks that were looking to make a purchase at the first demonstration of the day.
The presentation, as others have noted, is geared toward selling the Mark 7 or upgrades to the Mark V (Power Pro, double tilt, casters and table upgrades). Unlike other demos I have seen in the past, David did not have as many SPT's and only demonstrated the bandsaw and the dust collector in this session. Of course, these were the two that you could choose from as your free bonus if you purchased a Mark 7. The only other SPT I saw was the belt sander.
Pricing appeared to be the same as the webinar pricing I had seen before and there did not appear to be any other discounts for other items.
It was nice to see Shopsmith back in California and I hope they have a successful run down in Mission Valley.
