Nice to be back on this wonderful forum. I have owned a 510 and a 520 in the past. I had to part with both for reasons not germane to this post.
At any rate I am returning to Searcy AR on Saturday. At my new (old) home I have space for a nice little workshop. I plan to purchase another Shopsmith as they have always served me well and I am passionate about them. Not in a position right now to purchase new. Accordingly I have been perusing Craigs List and ePay and am encouraged by the availability. If any members run across a good deal in the next couple of weeks sing out!
Thanks again for all the guidance and camaraderie.

Not sure you would consider this a good deal, but it looks like a 520 with bandsaw for $1,650.

Thanks for the replies gentlemen. I looked at that Houston Craiglist ad yesterday. It might be worth the trip to Houston if I could get the fellow to negotiate a bit.

A day late and a dollar short. Houston Shopsmith post has been deleted.

OKC may be a bit of a hike, but this may be worth the trip:

I am in Harrison. I have an extra Mk V 500. It has the double bearing quill and I replaced the bearings in it about two months ago. In fact I serviced everything in the head stock at that time. Really runs well now. I have some of the basic accessories, but not all. If interested post back and we can discuss via email or phone.
