Is there a list anywhere of the weights of various SPTs (bandsaw, jointer, belt sander, older jigsaw, etc.) and other heavier pieces like a headstock? I searched but cannot find one.

I do not know of a list. A number of the SPT's have their weights listed on their pages on the Shopsmith website. The weight of the older style jigsaw depends greatly on whether it has the cast iron or cast aluminum table.

Same with the band saw. I can go out with the scale later and weigh these items if it would be helpful. The jigsaw and band saw are more bulky then they are heavy. The jointer and belt sander on the other hand are pretty heavy.

I am betting your jigsaw has the aluminum table.

Certainly no need to go out and weigh these! Just wondered if there was a list somewhere that I had over-looked.

The SS site helps, even if these are only weights of current models.
