Feather guard jointer upgrade template?

Hi,
Does anyone have a copy of the template used with the red jointer feather guard upgrade?
Or can I just "eyeball" the hole for the location of the "stop stud" drill hole? Looks like that would work.
Thanks!

I do not have the template, but I also believe you can eyeball it. You could use the slot that the stop slides in to mark an arc with the correct radius from the guard's pivot post. The centerline of the post is 3/8" in from the side of the jointer table.
X marks the spot.

Thanks, Rob
That's exactly what I was thinking. Just scribe the arc.

I just ordered and received the upgrade kit, haven't done anything with it yet. Send me a PM with your email address and I'll forward a scan of the template.

Y'all do realize that by enabling e-mails in yer profile that the 'sender's' email address is visible to you when sent by way of the profile link. It is then up to you whether to reciprocate via 'normal' e-mail.

Yep. It's been there since I joined.
