Hi All,
Just picked up a Greenie and the vent cover is missing, so I don't know what the S/n is, did shopsmith stamp the S/N somewhere inside??

Thanks

With a greenie it is easy to track down the time period. Also, you can further date it whether it has the access hole under the logo in the back. IIRC iaf it doesn't than 1953 to 1954, if it does 1954 to 1960.

1953 to 1960 (Green)
These units had a Gilmer Drive System (the inside of the top belt is like a tank track). These units were a single bearing spindle. 3/4 Hp motor was the standard.
