Sawdust sessions on iPad

I cannot get Sawdust Sessions to display on my new iPad mini. The web page opens, but the box where the video should be is blank. The box outline is there but there is nothing within the box, so I can see the headstock that normally is not visible.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks, Hank

Flash video will never ever work on any Apple Mobile Product. Apple does not support flash end of story.

Some Sawdust Sessions can be found on YouTube and will play on the iPad (download the free YouTube app).

Because of the flash issue with Apple is one of the main reasons why I bought an Android tablet instead of the Ipad. I bought the Asus Transformer and love it.

Newer Andriod will run flash, but not out of the box anymore. I believe it is something like HTML 5 that they are moving to.

Yep, HTML5 is the new standard, and it is true that Android is officially dropping support for Flash, but the open nature of Android allows for 3rd Party apps that can provide Flash support. That is not even a possibility with iOS devices.

hdoilcan, I bought my wife the Asus Transformer last year for her birthday (which is today!) and she also absolutely loves it. It totally replaced a laptop for her. She does all our family finances, scheduling, manages our family photos, her recipes, etc. on it as well as an e-book reader, general Web browsing and even a few games. She even uses it to keep the kids entertained in the car by loading it up with movies for them.

I use the Motorola Atrix it plays the sawdust sessions just fine.

I find the biggest problem is that I have to zoom in to hit the next
page button on these forums or else I get pages out of order.

Shopsmith may be gradually converting the videos. Sawdust Sessions 1-19 load and run fine on my iPad (3rd generation). Sessions 20 and later are no-gos.
